Islamic Higher Education (IHE) has played a significant role in the transformation of various aspects of life in Borneo, particularly in the domains of law, entrepreneurship, moral values, national struggle, and institutional change. IHE acts as an agent of transformation in Islamic law by integrating Islamic values into education, producing graduates competent in addressing modern challenges. The integration of Islamic education and entrepreneurship has been a primary focus in producing globally competitive graduates. Additionally, Islamic higher education also contributes to developing moral values in literature and increasing awareness of local history and culture. Institutional transformations, such as changes in institutional status, have significantly impacted the improvement of education quality and the development of high-quality human resources. With a focus on scholarly development, effective management, innovative research, and policy strategies oriented toward improving access, quality, relevance, and competitiveness, Islamic higher education continues to serve as an engine of change in society.
